Sharmila Shyangtan is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Development and Sustainability Program at the Asian Institute of Technology
(AIT) in Thailand. She earned her Master’s in Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Studies from Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED
) in 2019. Sharmila’s MPhil dissertation, titled “Lived Experience of Tamang Women in Higher Education: A Narrative Inquiry,” reflects her commitment to exploring the narratives of Tamang women in the context of higher education.
